Rabbi Jim Egolf’s Podcast

This sermon was delivered at Beth David this past weekend.  Delving into the Torah portion which is entitled, “Names,” the Torah proceeds to recount the names of the tribes of Israel in Egypt.  Keeping a name, an identity is something that even our incoming president confronted in his life.  He had to decide between being Barry or Barack.  My hope is that this struggle will help him lead us as we attempt to confront and once again embrace what it means to be America.
