Rabbi Jim Egolf is a Reform Rabbi and a graduate of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. He has served synagogues in Texas, Mississippi, and Georgia and is now the Rabbi of Beth David Reform Congregation in Gladwyne, PA (www.bdavid.org). Following rabbinic school, he earned a Doctorate of Ministry, with his research focusing on the emotions and conflicts small rural congregations in the Southern United States face as their numbers dwindle.
